CASH ON THE TRASH

                                                                        -Terry Joy Tip-ac

As years and population increases material wastes also increase especially on plastics, papers, bottles and tin cans. We mostly dump them anywhere no knowing that we are wasting money. Here are some tips to avoid dumping money:

1. Papers which are hard enough can be used as hard covers on books and on top appliances.
§  White papers are being bought their amount are higher than colored paper so separate the colored and no colored papers.
§  They can be used to make pot holders, curtains made from rolled papers and try using the back portion as scrap papers.

2.. Plastics can be cut and designed. They can become plastic flowers, figurines and lanterns by heating them.
  • They are also sold but you need to press or squash them to make them heavier.

3. Bottles are designed and turned to flower vases, paper weights. They are also bought depending on their sizes and kind of bottle.

4. Tin cans are cut and designed then turn them into foot rag and lanterns. You can also flatten the them, place them side by side then paint and we can use them as flat iron sheet.
  • They can be used as flower pots.
  • They can be sold but you must clean them, strip the papers off then smash them to make them  heavier.

You see, there are lot of things those garbage can turn to and they give money and something to do in leisure time.
